Honourable Yonah Martin Endorses Iain Black

The Honourable Yonah Martin, a respected Canadian senator and long-time community leader, has officially endorsed Iain Black in his campaign to become leader of the Conservative Party of British Columbia and the next Premier of the province.

“I am proud to support Iain Black,” said Senator Martin. “He is a leader of integrity, experience, and vision - and I believe he is the right person to lead both the party and the province forward.”

Appointed to the Senate of Canada in 2009 by Stephen Harper, Senator Martin has built a distinguished career in public service. She currently serves as Deputy Leader of the Opposition in the Senate and is recognized as the first Korean-Canadian parliamentarian in Canadian history. Her decades of leadership - from education to national policy - reflect a deep commitment to community, service, and country.

“I am honoured to have Senator Martin’s endorsement,” said Iain Black. “Her leadership, experience, and commitment to servant leadership reflect the values we share. At a time when British Columbia needs steady, experienced leadership, her support means a great deal.”

Black’s campaign is centered on his Five-Point Premier’s Plan to restore economic growth, rebuild confidence, and get British Columbia back on track - including a bold commitment to a 20% personal income tax cut so British Columbians can keep more of what they earn.
